How Do You Celebrate The Holidays?

The holiday season is the perfect time to show gratitude for everyone in your professional network – fellow real estate professionals, clients and prospects. With that in mind, we asked our System members how they are celebrating the holiday season this year.

Send Cards to Clients who Purchased Listings

“Something I did this year was I sent cards to my clients, of course, but I also sent cards to all of the clients who purchased listings I had this year, wishing them happy holidays and congratulating them on their first holiday season in their new home.  Knowing that many agents do not keep in contact with their past clients, this was a way to show that I cared they were a client as well!” – Jesse Gibbs, CENTURY 21 M&M

Deliver a Homemade, Local Dessert Favorite

“The Florida Keys real estate market is very seasonal, with this time of year being the time most people come to Florida to spend the holidays with family in their Keys home. It also happens to be the time when the local Key Lime trees still have fruit.  For the customers that are in the area, I take them one of my homemade Key Lime Pies – a desert the Keys are famous for -  along with a handwritten greeting card.  It’s always been a hit and I get many requests for the recipe. For customers that are not going to be in the area, I use 21Online to send eGreetings to wish them a safe and happy holiday.” – Tracy Larson, CENTURY 21 Schwartz

Throw a Holiday Party and Create Custom, Video and Voice Holiday Cards

“As a broker/owner, this is how I celebrate the holidays with my agents:

1) I have a company party and invite all my agents and their spouses and children. We have great food, drinks and a silent auction for Easter Seals.

2) I send all of my agents a video email of my wishing them a happy holiday.

3) I send a “voice blast” to all of their mobile phones wishing them a happy holiday. I record a message and the system sends the record to all of their phones.

I find the above technology gets to all of my agents and is very personal. They get to see my face and hear my voice. In the past I mailed cards. But, I noticed a lot of people get a lot of cards and forgot about mine, or they didn’t get it because someone else in the family is getting the mail.” – Tony Geraci, CENTURY 21 HomeStar
