While at Blog World last week, our CMO, Bev Thorne, was interviewed by Andrew Zarian of the GFQ Network about Century 21′s presence at the show and our Smarter, Bolder, Faster marketing campaign which is focused on social media and mobile. Having just bought a house himself, Andrew asked incredibly thoughtful questions about how Century 21 is using new media to improve the home buying and selling process.
During the interview, Andrew asked how Century 21 decided to first dip a toe into the new media waters and Bev explained that, “it’s really Gen X and Gen Y that are buying homes and they are buying in a very different fashion and engaging with media in a very different fashion than baby boomers. So as we look to say, what does our brand mean to consumers? We looked at our Gen X and Gen Y-ers and that’s when we learned how important it is to be involved with new media.”
