Mobile: never leave home without it

Real Estate is a relationship-based business. Your customers want to know you’re an expert, and using social media is a way to prove it. And now mobile is changing users’ expectations. Accurate, precise details, on and now.

In his “Reaching a Mobile Generation” learning session, Eric Blumberg, president of Smarter Agent, said mobile devices are a new appendage for consumers – and a new resource for agents to make the sale.

“Mobile is changing faster than our perception of where mobile will take us,” said Blumberg. “If buyers are making mobile purchases, then you need to have a mobile presence.”

According to Blumberg, you don’t want to look in your rear view mirror to grow your business. Instead, you want to look at who’s winning and try to beat them. Facebook has 150 million mobile users, and they’re 10 times more active than Facebook web users. Twitter is a “one-to-many” platform, and 85 percent of Tweets are mobile.

Now for the real question: Are you mobile?
